Modernizing Industrial Infrastructure

The Bina Petrochemical & Refinery Expansion project showcases the integration of advanced Precast Construction technology in high-stakes industrial environments. This specific phase focuses on the development of Control Room 05, utilizing a precision-engineered structural framework to ensure rapid deployment and structural integrity.

By shifting the production of structural elements to a controlled environment, Hindyug ensures superior quality control and significantly reduced on-site construction timelines.

Key features

Each component of this project is engineered for maximum durability and seamless integration within the refinery’s complex infrastructure.

Precast Columns

A total of 22 units standing 6 meters high, designed in varying dimensions (900*600 mm & 500*600 mm) to support heavy industrial loads.

Structural Beams

51 high-strength beams ranging from 5.5m up to 10.7m in length, providing the primary horizontal support for the control room structure.

Solid Slabs

33 precision-cast solid slabs (5.7m*2.9m) forming a robust flooring and roofing system.

Project development process

We follow a rigorous, three-stage technical approach to ensure the expansion meets international industrial standards.

Formwork & Fabrication

We begin with high-precision steel fabrication using plasma cutting and MIG welding. This ensures every mold for our precast elements is accurate to the millimeter, allowing for perfect alignment during on-site assembly.

01

Precision Production

Elements are cast using a mini batching plant and high-frequency shutter vibrators to eliminate air pockets and ensure maximum concrete density. Every piece undergoes a specialized curing process using water spray systems and wet hessian covers.

02

Rapid Erection

Utilizing an 80-ton mobile crane, the precast elements are transported and positioned with surgical precision. Components are secured using prop jacks and specialized grouting machines to create a monolithic, permanent structure.

Project solutions & problem

Every industrial project comes with its own set of challenges, from infrastructure limitations to workflow inefficiencies metro Industrial Hub is designed to overcome these issues through thoughtful planning, reliable systems, and strategic layout design.

Project Problem:

Heavy Equipment Load:

Industrial precast elements are massive, heavy, & often have complex geometries that require intricate maneuvering into restricted spaces. The sheer scale of these components makes achieving exact alignment & performing necessary on-site modifications, such as cutting or bending, a significant technical & logistical challenge that goes beyond standard installation capabilities.

Tight Timelines:

Refinery projects operate under extreme pressure for fast execution to minimize costly downtime, demanding concrete structures that achieve high early strength to accelerate the schedule. Simultaneously, there is a zero-tolerance policy for structural flaws, making it a critical hurdle to guarantee consistent, superior quality & long-term durability in a demanding on-site environment before erection can even begin.

Project Solutions:

Advanced Equipment:

We utilize a combination of heavy machinery & specialized tools, including cranes for lifting, dedicated cutting & bending machines, & complete oxy-gas cutting sets. For precise on-site fabrication & concrete consolidation, we deploy multiple welding machines with specialized rods, a range of 14-inch & 5-inch grinders with cutting & grinding wheels, & 40 mm needle vibrators. All of this is paired with skilled handwork, magnetic base drills, titners, & chain pulley blocks for exact positioning & installation.

Quality Assurance:

Quality is maintained through a comprehensive approach that includes rigorous lab tests for strength, optimizing concrete design with additives for early strength & superior well quality, &constant on-site testing using cube moulds & slump cones to verify concrete properties before erection.

Everything You Need to Know

The project is scheduled for completion within 150 to 180 days from the date of the work order.

We employ a comprehensive range of heavy machinery and specialized tools to ensure a secure, precise, and efficient erection process. Our equipment roster includes lifting cranes, chain pulley blocks, titners, and magnetic base drills for exact positioning. For necessary on-site detailing and structural integrity, we also utilize automated cutting and bending machines, complete oxy-gas cutting sets, multiple welding machines, specialized grinders (14-inch and 5-inch), and 40 mm needle vibrators.

Quality is ensured through a rigorous approach spanning from production to installation. Each element is produced using an optimized concrete design with specialized additives for high early strength & superior well quality. During production, we utilize precision batching systems, rigorous compaction, & controlled curing in dedicated tanks. Finally, we validate every element through comprehensive lab tests for strength, alongside constant on-site testing using cube moulds & slump cones before erection.
